Let's Take a Look at the Production Site of Boma Oil Filter!

Since the beginning of the New Year, Boma oil filter workshop has been intensely producing the out-of-stock models. After one-year processes like preparation for the project, laying production lines, trial operations and small batch production, this work shop can finally run normally with more than 15,000 pcs filters average daily output per production line. Now let's take a look at the processes of the rotary oil filter production, from the raw material to the final product.


1.The accessory stamping and drawing process

The accessories of an oil filter which includes the gland, fixed plate, upper/ lower covers, and shell, are made of rolls of BQB metal sheet, by using automatic stamping machine, drawing machine etc.


2. The shell spraying process

After the stamping and drawing processes, the shell of an oil filter need to go through cleaning, powder spraying, curing and cooling for better corrosion proof.


3.The fixed plate tapping, ultrasonic cleaning and Go-No go guage inspecting process

The screw thread on the fixed plate is the key part for the connection between an oil filer and a car engine. Boma inspected the threads by Go-No go guage way to ensure the integrity of the thread on the fixed plate.


4.The gland and bypass value spot welding process

The fixed plate and the gland, the bypass valve bracket and the lower cover are accurately welded by located tooling spot welding, which ensures the firmness of the accessories and the stability of the product.


5. The central pipe producing process

By using professional equipment, the metal sheet can be made into different size central pipes that meets various models' requirement. Central pipes can help filter paper bare more oil pressure as well as improving its supporting capacity.



6. The paper core gluing process

We prefer gradational structure filter paper with high-efficiency partcle intercepting ability and impurity storage capacity. We use superb viscose technology, connecting the upper cover, central pipe, filter paper, and bypass valve accessories to make it a filter element.



7. The assembling process

The automatic assembly line not only improves the production speed but also the products’ standardization level.


All the accessory material and oil filter manufacturer production process of Boma car oil filter strictly follows the OE standard and IATF16949 QMS. We are responsible and inventive to every oil filter.



According to the head of the workshop, there are 25 popular styles under production already. And the new models are also under developing and producing. The next target for Boma oil filter workshop is to add the production liens to 6. So the daily production capacity can reach to 90,000 PCS, which not only meets the needs of Boma brand, but also the needs of many OEMs. The future of Boma oil filter program is bright and inspiring!
