The centrifugal oil filter is mainly composed of a housing and a filter cover, a rotor shaft, a rotor body and a rotor cover.
The rotor shaft is fixed on the casing of the auto oil filter, and there are 3 bushes pressed on the rotor body, which should be integrated with the rotor shaft end, and can roll freely when sleeved on the rotor shaft. The compression nut fastens the rotor cover and the rotor body together, and then passes the dynamic balance test to check. A thrust bearing is installed below the rotor, and a supporting pad is installed on the top, which is compressed with a tension spring to restrain the movement of the rotor shaft.
There are two horizontal nozzles at the lower end of the rotor, which are opposite to each other. The filter cover and the housing have a high degree of neutrality, so that the rotor reaches a certain speed to ensure the filtering quality of the lubricating oil. The auto oil filter cover is installed on the filter housing with a compression nut to seal the rotor.
When the engine is operating, the oil from the oil pump enters the oil inlet of the filter. When the oil pressure exceeds 0.1 MPa, the oil inlet pressure limiting valve is pushed open, and the oil enters the rotor cavity through the oil outlet along the center hole of the housing and the rotor shaft, and then sprays out from the two nozzles through the oil passage. Propelled by the reaction force of the engine oil, the impurities in the engine oil are thrown to the inner wall of the rotor cover and deposited, and the clean engine oil flows to the oil pan through the oil outlet.
After the rotor has been operating for a period of time, the attachments on the inner wall of the rotor will gradually increase, so the weight of the rotor will increase, and the speed will decrease accordingly. At this time, it is necessary to replace it in time.
